Travis Welch serves as the President of Comfort Systems USA South Central. Prior to joining South Central, Travis spent 9 years with NCI Building Systems as Vice President of Commercial Operations for businesses located in Dallas and Pittsburg and their Construction Services Division with operational responsibility throughout the United States. Prior to joining NCI, Travis spent 7 years with Bovis Lend Lease, where he was a part of the Leadership Team responsible for estimating and managing the construction of over 2.5 million square feet various marque projects including; BP’s Helios Plaza in Houston, the Intercontinental Hotel and Merck Research Center both in Boston. Travis also spent 3 years with Skanska USA where he worked on power generation projects for the New York Power Authority and the Boston Central Artery Tunnel Project. Travis has a degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and a Masters of Business Administration from Strayer University. Travis started his career as a Project Engineer with Raytheon and brings 20 years’ experience in the engineering and construction industry and over 10 years of executive leadership experience. While originally from the Boston area, Travis and his wife Bridget have lived in Houston for the past 10 years.
