Challenge

Colonial Shooting Academy wanted to renovate the former Colony House Furniture Building and needed a mechanical contractor to build a very specific solution for their business needs. They also needed a mechanical partner that could maintain the facility after the work was completed.

The Academy also set a fast track six month turnaround due date on the project.

Solution

After careful consideration of the region’s top mechanical contractors, Colonial Shooting Academy decided to partner with ColonialWebb. They were chosen due to their full-service trade capabilities, vast company resources, and experience performing large-scale facility renovations.

Although the project started as a bid process, it turned into a design/build contract due to ColonialWebb’s value-added expertise. To complete the work in the allotted time, ColonialWebb pulled together resources from their construction, special projects, demo, manufacturing, service, water treatment, controls, and electrical teams. Under customer-focused project management, every member of the Colonial Shooting Academy project team came together in an efficient and safety-focused way.

A Closer Look

ColonialWebb completed the work on time, under budget, and more importantly, to customer satisfaction! As a result of ColonialWebb’s commitment during the entire process, Colonial Shooting Academy also awarded them the facility’s maintenance contract.
